摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device having raised reading speed of information recorded in a disc recording medium without enhancing the performance of an aseismatic structure. SOLUTION: This car navigation device 1 is constituted by connecting a drive device 5, an acceleration sensor 9 or the like to a control part 2. When reading information recorded in an optical disc 11 by the drive device 5, first of all, the vibration (accelerationα) applied to the drive device 5 from the outside is detected and integrated twice to generate the displacement distanceΔL which is vibration information, by a vibration information generation part 12. Then, the scanning speed V corresponding to the displacement distanceΔL generated by the vibration information generation part 12 is set by the control part 2 on reference to the standard displacement distance LB wherein the displacement distanceΔL is correlated with the limited scanning speed which is the limited reading speed. The information is read from the optical disc 11 at the reading speed corresponding to the vibration of the drive device 5 by repeating the operation.
