PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adaptor capable of shielding, easily and inexpensively, the electromagnetic wave emitted from an optical module that employs a semiconductor module. SOLUTION: Between a first and second storing parts which are connected to each other with an optical connector plug stored, there is interposed a shielding member which is composed of an electrically conductive material and which is provided with an opening for connecting optical connector plugs to be stored in the first and second storing parts. This shielding member is also provided with a ground part so as to be electrically connected to a conductive mounting member to which the adaptor is mounted.
