PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adjusting method for an ink-jet head capable of selecting a driving voltage adequate for a head unit without injection of an ink in a simple configuration, and capable of constantly maintaining the driving voltage of each head unit in the case a head comprises a plurality of head units. SOLUTION: First, the average of the diameters of nozzles 16 in a unit is calculated. next, the average of the capacitances of piezoelectric actuators 20 in the unit is calculated. Then, the driving voltage is calculated based on a relational expression showing the relationship between the nozzle diameter average in the unit and the capacitance average in the unit, and a driving voltage to be applied from a driving unit 30 to the piezoelectric actuator 20, prepared preliminarily. Then, in the case a head comprises a plurality of head units, a plurality of units having the same value for the driving voltage, or substantially same values are selected and assembled.
