The roof (2) has at least two fixed roof parts (3, 4) with at least one sealing profile (6) between same and having inside a channel (8) which communicates with the collecting channel (7) of the first roof part which takes up the water displaced by movement of the first roof part. The communicating channel has at least one opening so that the water in the collecting channel is sent into the communicating channel when the first roof part is moved. The opening is formed as a slit facing an inside space (9) of the vehicle when the first roof part is closed.
