PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration type gyroscope having a stabilized support and an excellent vibration characteristic. SOLUTION: Three elastic arms 10a, 10b, 10c separated by groove parts 11, 11 are formed in a vibrator 10. The arms are driven so that the both-side elastic arms 10b, 10c and the center elastic arm 10a are deformed reversely. An angular velocity is determined by detecting a vibration component in the orthogonal direction with the driving direction of the elastic arms in a rotation system. The vibrator 10 having the three elastic arms 10a, 10b, 10c can acquire stable vibration, even when being held so that the both faces thereof are sandwiched on prolonged lines from the groove parts 11, 11. |
