PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ranging apparatus for reducing storage contents to be stored in a photometric value/luminance value conversion table. SOLUTION: A control circuit 40 judges which region out of five regions where a spectrometric value obtained from the magnitude of an obtained total integration voltage value belongs to in photometry, performs correction for multiplying the total integration voltage value by a specific value according to a region where it was judged that the total integration voltage value belongs to, and obtains a photometry value by dividing the corrected value by an actual integration time so that the photometry value is within a specific range. A photometry value/luminance value conversion table 43a is stored while a photometry value in the specific range is associated with the luminance value corresponding to the photometry value, a CPU 41 reads a luminance value corresponding to the photometry value from the photometry value/luminance value conversion table 43a by the obtained photometry value, and corrects the read luminance value by a value corresponding to the specific value to calculate a luminance value to be obtained finally. |
