PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic type static-load press-in and pull-out machine, by which the required bending R of a hose can be ensured, inhibiting the pressure loss of the hose while compacting a machine body and the lifetime of the hose can be lengthened. SOLUTION: In the hydraulic type static-load press-in and pull-out machine 1, a pile is pressed in and pulled out by vertically moving a chuck section 5 by imparting static load to the chuck section 5 gripping the pile by a hydraulic cylinder 7. The bore diameter of the head-side hydraulic hose 81 supplying the head side 71 of the hydraulic cylinder 7 with oil pressure is made larger than the rod-side hydraulic hose 91 supplying the rod side 72 with oil pressure. Both hoses 81 and 91 are arranged so that the bending R of the hose 81 is made larger than that of the hose 91 is the case of the movement of the hoses with the vertical movement of the chuck section 5.
