PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gauge tie for properly maintaining an interval between rails 21, which can be mounted on a railroad track of a type wherein a track bed, called a slab or large prestressed concrete(LPC), is covered with concrete. SOLUTION: This gauge tie is equipped with a rod 13, wherein rail clamp fittings 1 are fixed to both ends, and an adjust jaw 14. The gauge tie is constituted as follows: the fittings 1 at both the ends, which are formed in a flat shape and wherein abutting fittings 19 are integrally preformed, are inserted for arrangement into a gap between bottom surfaces of the rails 21, which are fixed onto a base plate on the concrete track bed 20, and a top surface of the track bed 20; the rails 21 are fixed by the abutting fittings 19 and rail bearing fittings 2; and the interval between the rails 21 is kept in a prescribed dimension.
