PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost and disposable saliva sample preparation set where patients can gather their saliva safely. SOLUTION: The saliva sample preparation set 10 includes a saliva absorption gathering tool 1, and a centrifugal tube 2 for saliva separation collection. The saliva absorption gathering tool 1 includes a treatment rod 12, a saliva absorption body 11 that can be carried at the tip carrier section of the treatment rod detachably, and a pushout means 13 for disconnecting the saliva absorption body from the treatment rod. The treatment rod includes a tip carrier section that can carry the saliva absorption body detachably, and an operation region. The operation region includes the retention and grip sections of the push-out means. In the centrifugal tube for saliva separation collection, a saliva absorption body accommodation chamber 24 being classified by a classification means 22, and a saliva collection chamber 23 are provided in this order toward a direction from an opening end section to a closing end section.
