PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic having sufficiently high coloring power, capable of imparting the skin with bright texture of transparency feeling with slight light scattering, particularly when adjusted in skin color, giving a finish of slight glittering feeling with fine-textured bright skin color. SOLUTION: This cosmetic includes two kinds of plate-like color pigments each prepared by coating the surface of plate-like powder <2.0 in refractive index with powder >=2.0 in refractive index followed by a colorant; wherein the appearance color of one of the two kinds of color pigments represents 10P-5YR in hue in the Munsell system, and the other 5YR-10GY in hue.
