PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera provided with a stroboscopic autophotographing function by which proper exposure is obtained. SOLUTION: In the camera provided with the stroboscopic autophotographing function, a CPU 10 sets a proper exposure value based on object luminance when a photometric switch SWS is turned on in stroboscopic autophotographing, and also determines whether to perform stroboscopic light emission or not at an exposure time. On the other hand, in stroboscope turn-on photographing or stroboscope turn-off photographing in which it is unnecessary to decide whether to perform the stroboscopic light emission or not before exposure, the proper exposure value is set based on the object luminance when a release switch SWR is turned on. |
