PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a focal plane shutter for a digital camera provided with an electronic view finder and performing the exposure of an imaging device by a front blade and a rear blade. SOLUTION: Though a setting member 14 is rotated from an initial position to a set position by an operation member 15 on a camera side when the main power source of a camera is turned on, it is stopped once at a halfway position. Then, a rear blade group 19 is withdrawn from an aperture part 1a, and a front blade group 16 enters a position at which the imaging device 4 is not covered, so that the aperture part 1a is opened and the display of an object image by the electronic view finder is attained. When a release button is depressed, the setting member 14 is also rotated from the halfway position to the set position, so that the aperture part 1a is covered with the front blade group 16. Then, when respective driving members 10 and 12 are attracted by iron cores 8 and 9 and the setting member 14 is restored to the initial position, the respective driving members 10 and 12 perform exposure operation in order. |
