<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that, since a space is present between the surface of a sample and means for transmitting and receiving microwaves in a conventional moisture measuring instrument so as to hold a predetermined distance, standing waves are generated between them to give trouble in the measurement of moisture content according to circumstances while, even if moisture content is ready to be measured in such a state that the sample is allowed to densely flow through a pipe, a bridge (clogging of the sample) bridging the inner wall surface of the pipe to deteriorate the flow of the sample. SOLUTION: A transmission means 11, a reception means 12, a radiation source 21 and a measuring means 22 are arranged to both wing parts 31 and 32 of a trough-like member 40 having an almost U-shaped cross section to measure the moisture content of the sample flowing to the trough-like member 40.</p> |
