<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for detecting winding of a sheet and an image forming device capable of securely preventing further winding of a recording paper around a roller member from a state of the recording paper wound around the roller member even when power of the image forming device is turned on/off with the recording paper wound round the roller member. SOLUTION: This image forming device comprises a compressing roller 118 having a conductive surface, a high voltage power section 3 to apply a voltage to a feeder brush 11 abuttingly arranged on the compressing roller surface, a winding detection sensor 10 abutting on the compressing roller surface and arranged in a paper passing area, and a CPU 5 to control so as not to drive the roller 118 when determining that the recording paper is sandwiched between the roller 118 and the sensor 10 on the basis of comparison of the detected voltage of the sensor 10 and that of the brush 11.</p> |
