PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel having a phosphor layer of raised luminance. SOLUTION: This plasma display panel is produced by the following presses: a phosphor to be used in the panel is prepared by hydrothermal synthesis technique using a phosphor precursor made by spray baking method, and a fluorophor ink including the above phosphor is continuously jetted via a capillary tube and applied to the inside of a partition to form a phosphor layer.
