PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that erroneous detection occurs due to the input offset voltage Voff of an integrating circuit when an impact detecting circuit using the integrating circuit is integrated with a recording/reproducing IC into a single chip. SOLUTION: First and second integrating circuits 12 and 13 are connected across an impact sensor 11 and the integrated outputs from both integrating circuits 12 and 13 are differentiated by a differential amplifier 14 thus canceling voltage waveforms being generated at the output terminals of the first and second integrating circuits 12 and 13 by an input offset voltage. On the other hand, an impact is detected by comparing the differential output of the differential amplifier 14 with a threshold level Vth by means of a comparator 18.
