PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface treatment apparatus for a steel pipe, having a shorter length of the necessary space for a surface treatment for the steel pipe than that of a conventional one. SOLUTION: This surface treatment apparatus comprises a nozzle, a flexible tube connected with the nozzle, a drum around which the flexible tube is wound, a drive unit for rotationally driving the drum, and a liquid feeding device for feeding a treatment liquid into the flexible tube through a rotary joint attached to the rotation center of the drum.
