PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging box capable of easily containing an object to be packaged in the box for which conventional cushioning materials are not used when the object is packaged, being made compact in the size of the packaging box, and also improving its strength. SOLUTION: The packaging box is constituted with a holding member 20 and a pair of supports 10 and 12 which are held by the holding member 20, and which support an object 40 to be packaged. Each of the supports 10 and 20 consists of a horizontal support plate with an elastic sheet 30 spread over its opening 8 and side wall plates rising or falling from four sides of the horizontal support plate. Two horizontal support plates are opposed to each other, and the object 40 is sandwiched between two elastic sheets 30 to be held by them. The supports 10 and 12 are respectively assembled into a triangularly prismatic box body with the horizontal support plate and the side wall plates.
