PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel crawler with an elastic body for an endless track having enhanced durability. SOLUTION: The steel crawler 1 with the elastic body for an endless track comprises a link belt 2 having a plurality of pairs of links 3 connected thereto by pins and bushes; a flat, steel joint plate 8 secured to each pair of links 3 of the link belt 2 by bolts 6 and nuts 7; and an elastic-body-equipped shoe 9 consisting of a lug-free, flat steel core 10 and the elastic body 11 secured to the grounding side of the core 10 and being not open at its grounding face, the crawler plate being secured to the joint plate 8 by bolts 12 and nuts 13.
