PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas analyzer which is not influenced by a pressure fluctuation at the evacuation destination of a measuring gas. SOLUTION: A buffer pot 23 provided with a port 23a which introduces the measuring gas discharged from a sample cell 14, a port 23b which introduces the air via a connected check valve 26 and a port 23c which evacuates a mixed gas of the introduced measuring gas and the air and an evacuation pump 27 are installed at an exhaust gas line. When the evacuation pump 27 and a pump 22 are driven in such a way that the flow rate of the measuring gas is larger than the flow rate of an exhaust gas, the air is sucked to the buffer pot 23, and a pressure inside the buffer pot 23 can be maintained at a constant pressure close to atmospheric pressure even when a pressure fluctuation is generated at a gas exit 28. As a result, a pressure inside the sample cell 14 is stabilized, and the influence of the pressure fluctuation on a measurement accuracy can be removed.
