PURPOSE: A method for fabricating an electric lamp is provided to perform easily a process for connecting a connection line with two leads by crossing one opening portion and the other opening portion to each other. CONSTITUTION: A couple of opening portions of both sides of a glass tube(10) faces to each other. A guide tube is attached by punching a hole on a body(11) of the glass tube(10). A filament assembly(30) having a filament(31) and a lead(32) is inserted into the opening portion of both sides of the glass tube(10). A nitrogen gas is injected into the body(11) of the glass tube(10) through the guide tube. The opening portions are sealed. A state of vacuum is formed by absorbing the nitrogen gas from the body(11) of the glass tube(10). An active gas is injected into the body(11) of the glass tube(10) through the guide tube. The guide tube is removed and the hole is sealed. A connection line is connected to the lead(32). The opening portions are spreaded to a straight direction.
