PURPOSE: Provided are a hotmelt adhesive composition for bonding a coil of a deflection yoke to a core, which keeps heat-resistance at a high temperature and has excellent adhesive force and thermoplastic property, and a process for producing a hotmelt adhesive by using the hotmelt adhesive composition. CONSTITUTION: The hotmelt adhesive is produced by the process comprising the steps of: injecting 15-50pts.wt. of an adhesive resin(102), 5-20pts.wt. of a diluent(104), 1-10pts.wt. of a property reinforcing agent(106), and 5-15pts.wt. of a fire-retardant agent(108) into a mixer; stirring and melting the mixture at 200-250deg.C for 1-3 hours; adding 10-50pts.wt. of a base polymer(112) and 15-50pts.wt. of a filler(114) to the mixer and stirring at 200-250deg.C for 1-2 hours, wherein the base polymer is a polyolefin-based copolymer.
