PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a ceiling board support structure for system ceiling capable of exhibiting excellent earthquake resistance to vertical and horizontal vibrations in an earthquake and also excellent in workability. SOLUTION: This ceiling board support structure comprises a main bar 1, a cross bar 2 orthogonal thereto, a hanger member 3 for suspending the main bar 1 and cross bar 2 from the lower surface of an upper story floor, which comprises a holding part 34 for mounting the main bar 1 or cross bar 2 formed in the lower part of a vertical piece 31, a suspending bolt 4 having the hanger member 3 mounted thereon, and a brace member 5 erected between the suspending bolts 4. The hanger member 3 is mounted on the member 1 and cross bar 2 so that the direction of its vertical piece 31 is orthogonal to each of the bars, and the brace member 5 is erected between the suspending bolts 4 with an inclination to the suspending bolts 4 so to be orthogonal along the main bar 1 and the cross bar 2. |
