<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceiling-embedded type air conditioner, in which waterdrops occurring on a casing and a case body can be easily collected to improve the reliability and prevent a ceiling, etc., from being affected by the water drops. SOLUTION: The air conditioner is provided with a casing 5, a back side gutter 5a, side gutters 5b, distributing ribs 11, a holes 12 for water to drop, and a drain pan 3. The casing 5 is provided with a back board 5c and boards 5d for both side faces to cover a heat exchanger and an outlet. The back side gutter 5a is formed in about a U-shape in the cross section of the lower edge part of the back board 5c of the casing 5. Each side gutter 5b is connected to the back side gutter 5a, and the cross section of the lower edge of the board 5d is formed in a U-shape. The ribs 11 are formed in the back board 5c to distribute waterdrops dropping from the back board 5c to the gutter 5a into the side gutter 5b. The holes 2 are made at the lowest end 5e of the gutter 5b for dropping the drain. The drain pan 5c has an opening on the lower side of the gutter 5b, and walls on both sides of the gutter 5b.</p> |
