SEALANT FOR DOVETAIL GROOVE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide sealant for a dovetail groove hardly causing problems such as meshing, rolling or torsion, with excellent sealing function. SOLUTION: The sealant 10 for a dovetail groove made of elastic material has a sectional shape including: an even base 12 disposed on a bottom face of the dovetail groove; right and left oblique lines 14 obliquely extending from the both sides of the base 12 outward and upward; right and left extending shoulders 16 disposed at tips of the right and left oblique lines 14 and arranged inside the dovetail groove 22 and near an opening; a central projection 18 disposed at a center part between the right and left extending shoulders 16 and arranged to project above the opening of the dovetail groove 22; and recesses 17 disposed between the extending shoulders 16 and the central projection 18 and recessed inward of tangents of the extending shoulders 16 to the central projection 18.
