A liquid drop jet head includes a nozzle (5), a liquid room (6), a vibration board (2) forming a wall surface of the liquid room (6), driving means (12), a support substrate (13) to which an end part of the driving means (12) is connected without connecting to the vibration board (2), and a gap between the support substrate (13) and the vibration board (2) at a position corresponding to a partition (20) of the liquid room (6), wherein the vibration (2) board comprises a thin part (21) and a thick part (22) and the area of the thin part (21) is divided by the thick part (22) with which the driving means (12) comes in contact.
