<p>PURPOSE: An apparatus for processing an input signal of an image display equipment is provided to reduce the load of a microcomputer by determining an input mode in advance to input a signal to the microcomputer. CONSTITUTION: A signal input unit(10) receives an image signal having various signal modes. A synchronous signal separating unit(20) separates a horizontal synchronous signal from the image signal inputted through the signal input unit(10). A mode determining unit(30) receives the horizontal synchronous signal to determine a mode of the inputted image signal. Signal processing units(60,70) process the inputted image signal in a different manner according to the mode determined from the mode determining unit(30). A display unit(80) displays on a screen the image signal processed in the signal processing units(60,70). A microcomputer(40) outputs a control signal so that the image signal is processed in the different manner.</p> |
