The igniter is for a solid pyrotechnic micro charge (1) laid on a solid support (3) and covering a cavity in the support. It consists of a conductor track (2) in the form of a conducting fluid, such as ink, applied by serigraphy or an ink-jet method which is in contact with the charge alone. <??>The pyrotechnic charge is in the form of a nitrocellulose-based film and is ignited when a current is passed through the conductor track, generating gas to actuate a micro-pyromechanism such as a micro-valve or micro-pump.
