PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming images on a solid material, particularly glass, an enamel, a porcelain, and a ceramic material by inkjet system using a thermoplastic paste containing an inorganic solid. SOLUTION: The method for forming images comprises a step of forming images on the surface of a solid material by directly or indirectly printing by the inkjet system using a thermoplastic color paste containing a pigment and a thermoplastic medium, the thermoplastic color paste containing 1 mass% to less than 30 mass% inorganic solid to be selected from a pigment, a glass frit, and other glass-forming components. |
