PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image receiving body for ink-jet printing by which an ink-jet printed matter with improved ink color developing properties and ink blotting properties is obtained. SOLUTION: In the image receiving body for ink-jet printing in which an ink receiving layer is provided at least one face of a substrate layer, a method for providing the ink receiving layer comprising at least one selected from the group consisting of a bacteria cellulose I, a bacteria cellulose II ground by means of a high pressure emulsifier and water-soluble soy bean polysaccharides is provided.
