AIR CLEANER WITH BUILT-IN AIR FLOWMETER AND ADJUSTING METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner with built-in air flowmeter which allows the number of times of measuring air flow characteristics for adjustment to be decreased and is superior in air flow rate detection accuracy. SOLUTION: The adjusting method comprises a step s3 for measuring the ASSY flow rate characteristics before adjusting a circuit for measuring an output in the circuit with air flowing at different known flow rates using the air flowmeter incorporated in the air cleaner, a step s4 for adjusting the circuit ASSY, a step s5 for measuring the ASSY flow rate characteristics after adjusting the circuit, a step s6 for writing characteristics data in an air quantity conversion memory and forming a conversion table providing single linear air flow rate-air flow meter output characteristics, a step s7 for incorporating a cover, and a step s11 for incorporating it in a vehicle.
