VENTILATING STRUCTURE OF BASEBOARD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress propagation of vibration and sound based on the air spring action of air in an underfloor space in strong floor impact. SOLUTION: In this ventilating structure of a baseboard, flooring is laid on a floor foundation bed through support legs to constitute a double floor with the underfloor space. A clearance is provided at the wall side edge of the flooring, and a baseboard is additionally provided along a wall material to cover the clearance. The baseboard has a cross section of approximatelyΠtype structure comprising a horizontal piece and a pair of vertical pieces. One or more lateral slits are provided at the floor board material side vertical piece of the baseboard to communicate the underfloor and above-floor spaces.
