PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain simultaneously a powder defect, a scale defect, and a pinhole defect so that a slab grinding process by a slab grinder, and a coil grainding process by a coil grinder can be omitted thereby enabling a manufacturing process and a manufacturing time to be shortened. SOLUTION: In a continuous casting for on Ni-containing stainless steel, when a rate of discharge from a immersion nozzle is denoted by Q (Ton/min), a cross-sectional area of a mold is denoted by S (m<2> ), a discharge hole angle of the immersion nozzle byθ(rad), and residence time in a heating furnace in hot rolling by t (Hr), the rate of discharge from the immersion nozzle and the residence time in the heating furnace in the hot rolling are controlled in the range simultaneously fulfilling the following formulae (1)-(3): t<=5...(1), 1.3×Q×sinθ/S<=5...(2), and t+1.3×Q×sinθ/S>=4...(3).
