EXCAVATING RIPPER (TOOTH)

An excavating ripper is provided which is so constituted as to do excavating by being attached to the arc-drawing front tip end of an excavating machine bucket body rotatably pinned to a specified arm of a construction excavating machine such as a power shovel and drawing an arc around the pin when an arm rod is extending or contracted. The ripper includes a hollow base provided with a hollow recess to receive an adapter serving as a joining member for joining the bucket body with the ripper, and a thick-walled, tapering solid tip end, an inner surface facing the rotation center of the arc and an outer surface opposite to the rotation center being worked so as to be curved / warped toward a direction the rotation center along its base portion to the tip end portion, thereby improving its excavating power and durability.
