PURPOSE: A pipe expander is provided to easily carry out a pipe jointing work by expanding an inner diameter and an outer diameter of a pipe member in such a manner that other pipe is inserted into an expanding portion of the pipe member. CONSTITUTION: A pipe(108) is cut into a predetermined size. A pair of rotating rollers(107) are provided to rotate the pipe(108). A driving sprocket(104) and a driven sprocket(106) connected to the driving sprocket(104) through a chain(105) are installed adjacent to the rotating rollers(107). A cylinder(109) is positioned remote from one end of the pipe(108). An expanding member(111) having a predetermined curvature is coupled to a terminal end of a piston rod(110) of the cylinder(109) through a bearing. The expanding member(111) is press-fitted into one end of the pipe(108) due to a linear movement of the piston rod(110).
