PURPOSE: A preventing device of a miss-operation in an accelerating pedal for a vehicle and its method are provided to maintain an idle state of an engine by a secondary opening device of a throttle valve when the miss-operation of the accelerating pedal is detected. CONSTITUTION: A secondary opening device(310) of a throttle valve is formed in a throttle valve body(99) and is turned on/off according to a change of an operated status of a vehicle. In detecting a miss-operation of an accelerating pedal, an idle state of an engine is maintained by the secondary opening device of the throttle valve. Thereby, accidents by the miss-operation of the accelerating pedal are prevented previously.
