PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a write-once type optical recording medium large in difference between reflectivities before and after recording, having a good S/N ratio and high recording sensitivity, having no erasing possibility of a recording mark at all, and also excellent in weatherability. SOLUTION: In the write-once type recording medium performing recording by applying a change to the optical constant of a recording layer by the irradiation with light, the recording layer comprises two layers. One layer of the two layers comprises Zn, and the other layer comprises at least one element selected from Bi, Sb and Sn and Te. |
