PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording ink composition having high discharge stability and no defects in the aspects of hue, weatherability, water resistance, and image quality in a water base ink which is advantageous from the standpoints of handling properties, an odor, safety and the like. SOLUTION: The inkjet recording ink composition which is obtained by dissolving or dispersing an azo dye having an aromatic nitrogen-containing 6-membered heterocycle as the coupling component in an aqueous medium comprises a surface active agent of Surfynol (R) series and/or triethylene glycol monobutyl ether. |
