PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a white smoke preventing device for a liquefied gas evaporator capable of surely eliminating white smoke generated in an atmosphere during operation of the evaporator without using any blower requiring excessive power or control. SOLUTION: A white smoke eliminating heater 2 is arranged below this liquefied gas evaporator 1. A white smoke outward flow preventing surrounding wall 3 surrounding at least an area ranging from the lower side of the liquefied gas evaporator 1 to the upper side of the heater 2 is provided.
