METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DISSOLVING GEL-LIKE OBJECT FOR PHOTOGRAPHIC MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for dissolving a gel-like object for photographic material whose dissolving property is improved so that a prescribed flow rate can be secured not only at regular time but also at the time when residual amount in a tank is reduced at the termination of manufacture by using a tank-like dissolving device in the dissolution of the gel-like object used as the photographic material. SOLUTION: In the dissolving method, the gel-like object is dissolved by heating it by a jacket in a dissolving tank or by simultaneously promoting heat transmission with a stirring means. A means for detecting a temperature is arranged at the exit of the dissolving tank or just behind the dissolving tank. A means measuring dissolving speed is disposed in a process for using the dissolved gel-like object or in the middle of the piping. The heat insulating temperature of the dissolving tank jacket is controlled in accordance with the flow-rate signal of the flowing dissolved gel-like object and/or a temperature signal.
