PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfy both the imaging performance and the durability of a printer engine under such a state as the feeding interval of recording sheet is longer than the time required for the recording sheet to move through the sheet path of the printer engine. SOLUTION: A controller 110 controls the timing for stopping (post- processing) a printer engine 300 after the last recording sheet being imaged in the imaging apparatus is discharged based on a time out value, being set arbitrarily from an operating section 150, after the last recording sheet being imaged in the imaging apparatus is discharged. |
