<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power loss by reducing the burden of a main pump and to miniaturize the main pump and a scavenging pump in a lubricating device for a vehicle engine provided with the main pump for force-feeding a lubricating oil, and the transport scavenging pump for pumping out the lubricating oil from a crank chamber. SOLUTION: In this lubricating device, a crank chamber 2 and a transmission chamber 3 are partitioned by a partition wall 5, and an oil reservoir chamber 25 is formed communicating with the discharge part of the scavenging pump. Oil passages 51, 53 for lubricating a transmission, formed at the axes of transmission shafts 7, 8 are opened to the oil reservoir chamber 25. The lubricating oil in the oil reservoir chamber 25 is supplied to the lubricated parts of a transmission through oil passages 51, 52 of the transmission shafts 7, 8.</p> |
