PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicine which contains a factor for controlling the activity of vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) as an active ingredient and is effective for preventing angiogenesis and the movement, metastasis and infiltration of cancer cells. SOLUTION: This neovascularization inhibitor contains a polypeptide containing one to three domains in a connective tissue growth factor(CTGF) comprising four domains having interactions with VEGF.
