PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which can continuously laminate sheets for a face material arranged to cross at right angles longitudinally and transversely on a core material and efficiently produce a Tatami core material of composite foam, and to provide an apparatus for the method. SOLUTION: The apparatus for producing a laminated composite has a core material supply means for supplying the core material C longitudinally, a longitudinal sheet supply means for supplying a longitudinal sheet S1 for the face material longitudinally at least to one side of the core material C, a transverse sheet supply means for supplying a transverse sheet S2 for the face material transversely to the surface or back of the longitudinal sheet S1, and a heat press means for heat-pressing the longitudinal sheet S1 and the transverse sheet S2 which are laid to overlap each other perpendicularly to the core material C.
