<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disc brake capable of reducing a machining area, and as a result, securing sliding performance of a pad and reducing machining cost. SOLUTION: A recessed part 25 recessed in a disc radial direction is formed on at least one pad 14 of a pair of pads. A disc rotating direction supporting part 38a abutting on a side face 25a in a disc rotating direction inlet side of the recessed part 25 of the pad 14 and a disc radial direction supporting part 38b abutting on a bottom face of the recessed part 25 of the pad 14 are formed on a carrier 12. A clearance C is constantly provided between the carrier 12 and the pad 14 in a disc rotating direction outlet side.</p> |
