<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the judgment whether the bill is justifiable or not by preparing the database of the information on predetermined contents to be entered in the bill, and electronically checking the bill sent from a maintenance shop. SOLUTION: This device for checking a bill for vehicle inspection and maintenance is provided with an image information recognizing part 12, a character data extracting part 14 for extracting the character data of the image information recognized by the image information recognizing part 12, an inspection and maintenance items retrieving means for retrieving the inspection and maintenance item data 16 centralized and controlled in the inspection and maintenance item database 16 of the vehicle, and a character data right and wrong determining means for handling the character data as the normal data when the inspection and maintenance item data corresponding to the character data exists in the inspection and maintenance item database, and handling the character data as the inadequate data when it does not exist in the inspection and maintenance item database, as a result of the retrieval by the inspection and maintenance item retrieving means.</p> |
