APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING MOLDED ARTICLE HAVING LOW DENSITY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact-sized apparatus for the automatic continuous production of a molded article having excellent quality and low density. SOLUTION: The apparatus has a raw material frame reserve station and a molded article discharging apparatus placed adjacent to a molding and drying unit. A means for cleaning the forming mold after removing the dried molded article and a cutter to cut the part deposited over an open face of the forming mold are attached to a supporting means of the raw material frame. The apparatus is further provided with a watering apparatus to supply water to a suction chamber before charging the raw material slurry into the forming mold to prevent the dehydration of the slurry simultaneously with the pouring of the slurry into the mold.
