PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealant which has excellent abrasion resistance, good mountability and good followability to counter members. SOLUTION: This sealant for sliding portions is obtained by cross-linking a rubber composition comprising 100 pts.wt. of a fluororubber containing tetrafluoroethylene as a copolymerization component and 5 to 80 pts.wt. of carbon black with an organic peroxide.
