PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fusible alloy for thermal fuse, having a melting temperature of 120-135 deg.C, free from lead, a wire rod for thermal fuse consisting of the fusible alloy, and a thermal fuse using the wire rod. SOLUTION: The objective fusible alloy for thermal fuse is characterized by including Sn 26 wt.% to less than 30 wt.%, and the balance In with unavoidable impurities. The objective fusible alloy for thermal fuse is characterized by alternatively including Sn 26 wt.% to less than 30 wt.%, Ag 0.1 wt.% to 2 wt.%, and the balance In with unavoidable impurities. The objective wire rod for thermal fuse is characterized by comprising the fusible alloy having the above composition. Furthermore, the objective thermal fuse is characterized by having a thermal fuse element consisting of the above wire rod for thermal fuse.
