METHOD FOR EXECUTING JAVA APPLICATION MIDLET USING COMMUNICATION BETWEEN JAVA APPLICATIONS

PURPOSE: A method for executing a java application midlet using a communication between java applications is provided to execute a java application by calling a function of a native system S/W using a communication between java applications and supplying the function to a downloaded java application. CONSTITUTION: An application name, a name of a function being supplied from the application, and a function capable of performing the above function with respect to a java system application stored in a mobile terminal for supplying a function to a java application downloaded through a wireless network are stored in an OEM(Original Equipment Manufacture) system(110). For downloading and executing the java application through a wireless network using a mobile terminal(120), a java object or a function name for performing a predetermined function is received from the downloaded java application(130). The OEM system searches a java object or a function stored in a hash table, supplies the java object or function to the downloaded java application(140), executes the java application(150), and a web service is received or an Internet site is connected.
